Practice Announcement

Listening and learning from our patients and their experiences is something we value at Badgerswood & Forest Surgery, and the use of data often helps us in planning ways we can improve and develop our services. On 24 November 2022, NHS Digital published practice level data showing the number of appointments being given at practices across England, as well as by region and nationally. While this information does show the high number of appointments we are offering, it does not include other requests and work undertaken by the Practice, such as issuing prescriptions, actioning referrals, reviewing test results, etc which are important elements of how we care for our patients.

We are working hard with colleagues across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to improve access to health services, as well as support our patients in the best way for their needs. If you have any concerns or ideas you would like to share with us, we will always encourage you to email us via

Welcome to Badgerswood & Forest Surgery

Badgerswood Surgery would like to apologise for the ongoing issues with our telephony system.

We fully understand that this is a massive inconvenience to our patients and thank you for your continued understanding.

We have had engineers in, who unfortunately have been unable to locate the issue.  Furthermore, we are in the process of upgrading our  telephony system, however, we are still weeks away from it being operational.  Our staff are trying their best to accommodate your needs, however, with an inadequate phone system and a massive increase in patient demand, we would appreciate your on-going patience.

The practice operates out of two sites, the Forest Surgery in Bordon and the Badgerswood Surgery in Headley and also provides medical care for the surrounding villages.

Although patients receive the majority of their care from one site, patients may occasionally be asked to visit the other site for emergency appointments or specialized care.

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

There are parking bays for disabled drivers. The buildings are on one level and wheelchairs can enter all consulting rooms.

The patients’ lavatory is equipped for wheelchair use.
