Repeat Prescriptions
What could the impact be on my medication if we leave the EU without a deal?
Click on 'Getting your medicines if there's a no-deal Brexit' or 'Common questions about a no-deal Brexit' for more information from NHS England on this topic.
Please request repeat prescriptions in writing, by fax or online via the link at the top of this page. Please note new users to the system are required to complete a simple registration first.
We are unable to accept requests for repeat medications over the phone due to problems with accuracy and patient confidentiality.
Pharmacies
Both Forest Surgery and Badgerswood Surgery have a pharmacy attached directly to the building. Both are full chemist shops that stock a complete range of both prescription and over the counter medications for the convenience of both our own patients and others who are not registered at the practice.

Headley Pharmacy
Chase Pharmacy
If you authorise it, it is possible for the signed prescription to be passed directly to the pharmacy where it is made up ready for you to collect. Similar arrangements are available from other local pharmacies.
The Partners in the Practice have a financial interest in Forest Medical Services Ltd, which operates and manages both pharmacies. Whilst we are happy if patients choose to use our pharmacies, we are also happy if patients prefer to use other pharmacies.
A managed Repeat Medication service is available to patients who are on regular stable medications. They may be issued a 6 monthly authorisation whereby the prescription will be automatically available for collection from the Headley Pharmacy on a fixed day of the month without needing to request it each month. If you feel you may be suitable for this service please discuss it with your doctor or pharmacist.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
