Your Big Health Conversation – GP Services Survey

Locally the way in which you can access some of your GP services is changing with the introduction of:

  • Integrated Primary Care Access Service
  • Same Day Access Services
  • GP provided phlebotomy tests (blood taking)
  • Online access (eConsult)
  • Online appointment booking
  • Online prescription requests
  • Long term condition clinics
  • Care navigators.

Fareham and Gosport Clinical Commissioning Group and Southern Hampshire Primary Care Alliance would welcome hearing your thoughts on these services as they may make changes to how and where they services based on what local people say.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
